President
Alex Christopoulos
Alex has over eight years of executive experience in education management, finance, and business development, and is passionate about reshaping conventional teaching methods. Driven by the belief that traditional “one-size-fits-all” education overlooks individuality, he is committed to providing a nurturing environment where every child’s unique talents can flourish.
Alex’s commitment to high-quality education extends beyond students, impacting families, teachers, and the broader community. Through his innovative vision, he continues to champion a transformative approach to education – one that ensures every student can thrive, learn, and grow to their fullest potential.
Chief Academic Officer
Dr. Krista Mallo
“Great pedagogy meets fearless problem-solving.”
Dr. Krista Mallo leads NovaPath’s academic vision and curriculum design, drawing on more than 20 years of experience in K-12 and higher education. As co-founder and President of the Florida Academy of Excellence, she built dual-enrollment pathways that let high-school students graduate with an Associate of Arts degree and spearheaded full LMS, SIS, and scholarship-compliance integrations.
Previously, she has chaired high school and college academic departments, hiring and mentoring multidisciplinary faculty while teaching composition and literature in multiple modalities.
Dr. Mallo holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction and an M.A. in English Education from the University of South Florida. Her expertise in program accreditation, faculty development, and school-choice advocacy ensures every NovaPath course meets rigorous academic standards while remaining flexible for today’s learners.
Business Development
Dr. Joseph Allotta
Dr. Joe Allotta brings nearly two decades of leadership in Christian higher-education, student experience, and ministry preparation. Throughout his career, he has guided recruiting, enrollment, financial aid, and retention while teaching in the Ministry and Bible departments, chairing college academic programs, and focusing on student experience and student development. His data-driven strategies have boosted student persistence and produced ministry graduates who are 97 % grounded in a Christian worldview.
Dr. Allotta holds a Doctor of Ministry and Master of Divinity from Liberty University and recently completed a Ph.D. in Leadership & Educational Administration at Carolina University. He is the author of Discipleship in Education (2018).
