Algebra 2 explores five key areas to advance your math skills. You’ll extend arithmetic operations to include radical and rational expressions and polynomial division. The course emphasizes graphing and analyzing diverse functions, including polynomial, absolute value, radical, rational, exponential, and logarithmic types. We’ll also focus on building functions using compositions, inverses, and transformations. You’ll learn to solve systems of equations and inequalities that involve non-linear expressions, and develop a strong understanding of the complex number system, particularly complex roots of polynomial equations.
